Support for Dogs of Different Ages, Breeds & Backgrounds

You may be looking for help with one specific behaviour, several connected challenges or a general feeling that life with your dog is becoming harder to manage.

Some concerns appear suddenly. Others build over time or only become obvious in particular environments. You do not need to diagnose the problem before getting in touch. The first step is to explain what you are seeing and what you would like to change.

I will help you identify the most useful starting point and develop a plan that is appropriate for your dog.

    Tailored Support

Dog-Training & Behaviour Concerns I Can Help With

Reactivity towards dogs, people or environments
Pulling or lunging on the lead
    Recall difficulties & straying
Jumping up on visitors & family
    Overexcitement & difficulty settling
    Excessive barking & arousal
    Fearful & anxious behaviour
Chasing wildlife & strong prey drive
    Focus around high distractions

Every dog is different. Some behaviours may have several contributing factors, so we will prioritise the changes that can make the greatest practical difference.

    Walk & Train Support

Walk & Train may be suitable when you are short on time or would like me to work directly with your dog on agreed training priorities.

The first step is still the required Initial Assessment. Your dog will be collected and taken to their usual walking area or an agreed environment. Training can focus on lead walking, recall foundations, focus around distractions, and calm outdoor behaviour.

Walk & Train is not intended to remove the owner from the training process. Your involvement remains important so that skills transfer into everyday life.

    Support Between Sessions

Training progress does not only happen during appointments. Where included in the service, you will have access to email or WhatsApp follow-up support. This gives you a way to ask relevant questions, clarify an exercise and share brief updates about how the plan is progressing.

Clear Guidance Without Pain or Fear

My approach is based on teaching useful behaviour, reinforcing progress and helping dogs cope more successfully with situations they find difficult. Positive reinforcement is not about ignoring problems. It is about addressing them ethically and practically.
